I love nature in all its magnificence and beauty. I trained as engineer and environmental scientist and work for the University of Plymouth (UK) as Associate Professor. Beyond this, I am active in resilience education and support organisations with STEM subject outreach and science communication. Spending time outdoors provides me with balance and inspiration and my dog T'isker makes sure I get out there in all conditions.
